Pyle & Kenfig Golf Club
|
This traditional links and down land course has a growing reputation as one of the best challenges in Wales. Affectionately known as “P & K” the course was originally designed by Harry S Colt, then further extended by P Mackenzie Ross, who described the dunes land as a “golfers dream”.
The course has recently hosted the Amateur Championship qualifying rounds, the 2003 Girls Home
Internationals and the 2006 Men’s Home International matches as well as many other professional and amateur tournaments.
The course is two loops of nine holes returning to the Clubhouse and the second nine are regarded
as the tougher of the two, with the final three holes viewed as the hardest.
